AZ CENTRAL - Axis Employment Services CEO finds riches in America
Most little girls spend time playing outside, riding bikes, climbing trees. But when employment specialist Tran Tran was 9, she had other things on her mind.
“(My family) fled Vietnam two weeks before the fall of Saigon,” she recounts. “We were in the very first wave of refugees to come to the United States in 1975. We had nothing but the clothes on our back.”
The refugees stayed at Camp Pendleton, Calif., until a family in Arizona sponsored them.

AZ CENTRAL - Asking The Right Questions When New on the Job
In today’s job climate, it’s not uncommon for workers to find themselves in jobs they never dreamed of. This means they might not have all the job experience needed to fulfill their responsibilities from day one.
Tran Tran, founder and president of Axis Employment Services, LLC in Phoenix, said doing research on your own before you ask questions is key.
“It . . . is always wise to ask questions to clarify an assignment or directives,” Tran said. “Try to find the answers on your own first. Oftentimes, there will be existing company manuals or guidelines to help. This can show initiative and land you big points, especially if your managers and team members are on hectic deadlines.”
